James and Chris are old school mates and have been best friends since before they even knew what rallying was. Their relationship in and out of the car is much closer than most other rallying crews and its this bond that makes them the perfect team. With the 2 lads growing up together and knowing each other so well their trust and confidence in each other makes them such a highly competitive team.
Chris started his motorsport career, like many World Championship co-drivers, in road rallies at the young age of 16, moving into single venue rallies when he was 17. Chris really made a name for himself when he teamed up with Ludlow youngster Henri Grehan in his Ford Escort MK2. With many great results Chris was learning all the skills he needed to move up to the International stage along side James. Chris' first International rally came with James on the 2007 Pirelli International rally and since then he has not looked back. Chris' reputation as a top line International co-driver was endorsed by the fact that he was selected as an MSA British Rally Elite Member. Since then Chris has been offered many drives in different cars with different drivers such as Kris Hall in the Fiesta ST and more importantly winning Rally of the Midlands in a Subaru Impreza WRC alongside Eian Pritchard.
